Forget number 1....forget number 2.....Dark of the moon DELIVERS! (by arcticmonkey1992) |
I was extremely lucky to go see an advance screening of the morning over in the USA last week. And after seeing the disaster of the second movie, i didn't really have high hopes for this movie. The trailer made the film look like it was going to be EXCELLENT!! And after spending nearly 2 and a half hours in the cinema viewing this movie, i came out thinking "wow!!" Michael bay promised he was going to improve on the second film and he did it sensationally. The 3D in this movie was incredible up there with the 3D effects of avatar . The performances in this movie was incredible, <more> |
Much Brighter than its title implies.... (by misel982001) |
In Transformers III, the battle of humans and Autobots vs the Decepticons moves into a new level; To begin with, visual effects are not just state of the art. They are innovative because they are really superbly designed and directed. There are hardly any faults and they look like real.Director Michael Bay helps us enter into the agony of the battlefield with his camera angles and movement. The film's atmosphere is now more dramatic. Many humorous elements of the 2 prequels are not anymore present. The dialogues are mostly desperate while the action is like a hurricane with a progressing <more> |
Bay has made a freaking BREAKTHOROUGH! (by Optimus13) |
I saw an advanced screening a few days ago, and I must say, this is... BEYOND. ANYTHING. BAY. HAS. EVER.MADE!!!! The effects are amazing as usual,3D is better than avatar's, but the story Bay and Kruger have provided surpass anything bay has attempted, as if Speilburg directed it himself. The robots receive MUCH more character depth than the last two combined had and more. The acting is great, and Rosie's acting is really good for a starter. Trust me, don't be biased about it, go see it, and you won't regret it! Unless your that cynical. p.s the twists, character fates, and <more> |
Spoiler-ish review from a fanboy. (by jim_pot_2000) |
I know that people most likely won't read this, but i want to get my thoughts down while still in my head. I just saw the 9:30 3-D showing of TF3, and here is my review. It is slightly spoiler-ish.The Plot:Most people despised the plot of ROTF. I sorta liked it, but I could tell why others hated it. I just sorta overlooked it. DOTM's plot is more thought out and contains many sub- plots. This makes the plot more like TF1 than the plot of ROTF. I loved the plot twists, even though one or two were predictable. The most shocking is Sentinel. Did NOT see that coming. I loved the <more> |
Good summer fun..... (by smlubecki) |
Well here we go again. Another Transformers movie and another round of critics bashing it harder than a decepticon hitting an autobot picnic.First let me preface things by saying, when do all movies being made lately have to be compared to The Dark Knight or be reviewed as if its the next academy award winning film. Whatever happened to just simply going to the movies and enjoying yourself.Transformers Dark of the Moon fits nicely into the "go and enjoy yourself" variety. ** Potential Spoilers ** I really enjoyed this installment of the Transformers franchise. The special effects <more> |
Top Class Film (by jatinder377) |
Having watched this film I think Michael Bay definitely learnt from the mistake he made in ROTF. He cut out all of the stupid comedy e.g the twins. He also made the overall plot a hell of a lot better, the way they linked in the moon landing to Transformers was fantastic I thought, and additionally the old footage they used was clever. The action scenes were pumped up so much more, and I felt genuine sorrow when IronHide died, and BumbleBee was going to be executed. The background music composed by Steve Jablonsky was fantastic and never so more appreciated during the car chase scene when they <more> |
Third time's a charm for Bay and the Bots! (by ceejay-cj) |
There is a simple rule to knowing if its worth going to see this film..If you enjoyed the first film regardless of what you thought of the dubious second movie, then get your damn tickets! If you hated both movies then stay the hell away because there will be nothing new for you this time around.Quite simply this is the most outstanding action flick you're likely to see this year let alone this summer and it's a successful return to what they managed to deliver with the first movie. Make no mistake about the toilet humour, sometimes screwball acting and silly jokes. That stuff is <more> |
Michael Bay has somehow done it-what an improvement, what a Sci-Fi.Genre-defining! (by drakula2005) |
The Transformers series are a very strange and curious trilogy. The first was interesting, a little longer than the plot was capable of handling, but nonetheless enjoyable for what it is.Then, the second one came around with initial reviews claiming it was a loud-explosion mess of a movie.Yes, i left the theatre deaf as a post, but i still accepted it for what it was-a brainless, one-liner, visual effects driven non-plot having extravaganza, that can take your ears to the grave.Yes, it was a little sub par on plot and substance, but i enjoyed it for what it is-a summer Michael Bay movie. Now, <more> |
Why so much hate? this is really good! (by dannywales93) |
This is really good movie and yes it does have its flaws, but what movie does not? These films are more focused on CGI and action. The plot is smart and is not to hard to follow. I think all of the people are likable in this film. Even though i do miss Megan Fox. As the new actress who plays Carly adds nothing to the film, but like in most action movie, you need a bit of eye candy and a female lead. The action is amazing in my eyes. And the script is not as bad as people make out. But i think it suits the film. People slate this film for all reasons. But is a classic in its own ways. It is <more> |
